Finally done

Twenty-four octagons and fifteen squares crocheted, then positioned and stitched together. Four rows of border and......
VOILA!!!!!!

I'm in the process of making the same blanket. (down to the last 4 large motifs..then have to sew them on the blanket..then edge)

You've done a good job and like me.. couldn't decide which color combo you liked best!!

Lucky little girl to receive such a labor intensive project.

The afghan you did is absolutely wonderful!

I have made my grand son one in which I improvised and actually appliqued chrocheted stars all over it as he loves the planets, stars etc. He loved it.

I am now making my 8 year old grand daughter another improvised afghan. I like to creat my own artistic strokes to it and as you said it is something from granny that will still be there when I am gone. I have 2 younger grand daughters and they each will get one as well.

Chrochet is a passion - TRUE
